Position Description We are a West Vancouver family looking for a fun, energetic live-out nanny/caregiver with great qualifications and preferably speaks Slovak nationality, or Swiss, German or Czech. The nanny will be working in our family's home, responsible for all tasks related to care of the children and will serve as a loving, nurturing and trustworthy companion to the children. Duties • Supervise the child activities at all times • Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment • Driving kids to and from school and various after-school activities • Preparing meals and grocery shopping • Getting our youngest down for afternoon naps • Walks with our 6 year old and our friendly family dog • Moderate household cleaning including maintaining the play area and kitchen clean, vacuuming and laundry Qualifications • Experience with children is a must • A current criminal record check cleared to work with children • Reliable and trustworthy • A valid class 5 driver's license; safe driving history Preferences • We would prefer a Slovak-speaking or Czech-speaking nanny as we're trying to expose our youngest to our language and culture • Emergency Childcare First-aid and/or a CPR Certificate • Own car Compensation Negotiable
