Hi, My husband and I are currently looking for a nanny to begin working immediately. I am currently a stay at home mom but will begin working soon. I am looking for someone who is truly interested in children. My daughter is as sweet as pie and I am hoping to find someone that can give her the attention she deserves. I am really looking for someone to become part of our family. I don't want you to feel like you "work" for us; I really want you to feel comfortable with our family and be happy. It would be great if you had your license and a car but this is not a make or break option. Also, if you were comfortable in water that goes to your waist that is an added bonus. My daughter loves to swim and especially likes the splash pads in the neighborhood. Your daily duties would include: getting my daughter ready for school, potentially walking her to school (5 minute walk), coming home and doing some cleaning and or cooking, picking her up from school, playing with her, making her lunch, putting her down for her nap and preparing a dinner. Your hours would be along the lines of 8am - 4pm or 9am-5pm. *my daughter will be attending preschool in september, five days a week from 9:00-11:30. Cleaning is also a requirement. I need someone who can keep the house clean and do some cleaning while my daughter is in school. I do not need you to be a chef. If you can follow a recipe I am happy with that. However, if you love to bake that is an added bonus. We also have a small dog that is a maltese/ yorkshire terrier mix. He is very loving. Would never bite or hurt anyone. Barely even barks and does not shed at all. He is only 7. 5 pounds. We are looking for someone long term that as I mentioned will be become a part of our family. I am not looking for a nanny that is constantly on her phone or that goes to the park just to talk to her friends. However I do understand your need to socialize and I am fine with that.
