Hello, we are a same-sex couple with one-year old twins looking for part-time help, as well as occasional relief whenever our regular child care is not available. Ideally, we are looking for a nanny or babysitter within or close to our neighbourhood--Parkdale--who could work mornings five days a week, and also fill in on relatively short notice during emergencies (or planned notice well in advance when needed for extended periods of time). Occasional travel during the year (3-4 times) might also be required. We are very down to earth, friendly and low maintenance, and believe in treating people fairly. Our kids are cute as buttons, but can be a handful if you have not taken care of twins before, so we are looking for someone with experience with more than one child at a time. Responsibilities would include: feeding the little ones, entertaining them when awake, going out for walks, changing/bathing, putting to sleep. We have a boy and a girl, and neither has any special needs, allergies (that we're aware of yet!) or dietary issues.
