We are hoping to hire a part-time caregiver (starting the first week of January 2017 though end of April 2017) to assist with our two children, ages 5 and 3. Seeking a gentle, fun, patient person who will fit in with our easy going family. Preferably someone with related experience and/or an ECE background. The right candidate will be able to tell us about activity ideas and ways to help our bright kids learn and develop. Approaching the job with an attachment-based caregiving style is a bonus. Please be able to provide or willing to obtain Vulnerable Sector Screen (police check), and up to date vaccinations and clear TB test. Current First aid/CPR for infants and children is required. Our current and last caregivers can happily tell you about our great family. We are hoping to find someone who can work after school hours from 3:30-5:30/6:30 PM at least 3-4 days a week (10-15 hrs weekly). The schedule is flexible and can be adjusted to suit the right person. Occasional evenings/weekend shifts would also be available for an interested candidate, but not required. Being able to help with very light housework (e.g., folding children's laundry) and/or meal preparation (e.g., children's snacks/dinner) would be an asset.
