Looking for a FT Live-in caregiver for the summer season. (This position will potenially result in a full-time long-term position for the right candidate, as our current live-in nanny is leaving for the Philippines for 2 months vacation). Position starts June 30th 2014 and until 1st week of Sept 2014. (Part time available on weekends 1 or 2 days until that time*). Must be flexible, active and love the outdoors, arts and crafts, and have a postive can do attitude so you can multi-task an almost 5 yr. old boy and almost 7 yr. old girl. Location: Nepean very central to all amenities We have an outdoor pool, hot tub, (soon to be trampoline), large greenspace and forest area with trails and a park within walking distance, outdoor tennis courts w/private membership, and a safe area with large yard for playtime. We also have a cottage on Calabogie Lake and a large garden, 5 acres on the water and require the care-giver to swim, drive and be able to look after the children here in the city or at the cottage during the week and some weekends. I can always use a helping hand 24/7 but I can be flexible with days off for the right candidate. I am looking for a dedicated individual that fits in like family support and do not want someone that doesn't like the outdoors, swimming, or being outside or won't work any weekends or evenings as required*. I am looking for mature soul (not necessarily older), reliable, fun and dynamic that can cook, multi-task and takes initiative with he children and comfortable "on own", taking on the roles and responsibility of teaching our children good manners and discipline, all while providing a safe environment, with lots of laughter & funtime.
