I have the excruciating task of having to go work in Ontario from 1 September - 15 November. I am a single mother and live in Halifax, with my adorable 2 year old son. I need to find someone who is either able to come live in my home and take care of my son during non-daycare hours (ie. 5pm-7:30am Mon to Fri, and all day wknds), or travel with me to Ontario and care for him while I am working (ie. 7am - 5pm Mon to Fri). His Dad also lives in the area and will be around to help out, however he is a shift worker who is away most nights during the time my son needs care the most. I have a furnished spare room, in a nice size house with a fenced in back yard. This position is mainly to accommodate the 2.5 months that I will be out of the province, however I am certainly open to continuing on an agreed upon contract for when I return. I'm hoping to attract an ECE student who wants close accommodations to the Mount and gain some experience with being a nanny, while having the flexibility to go to school during the day and doing homework after my son goes to bed.
