We are faculty members at the University of Toronto who live in the Annex (on Boswell Avenue, near Spadina and Bloor). Our son is 7 years old and is in Second Grade at the Institute for Child Study, the University's "Lab" school, a few blocks from our home (on Walmer and Lowther). We are looking for a warm, patient, reliable individual who loves inquisitive children and pets to walk our dog (a wonderfully affectionate and easy to care for Maltese-Shih-Tzu) around 2:00pm; pick up our son, escort him home or to after school activities, play, and read; and on days he stays at school for after-school activities, do housework, errands and some meal preparation before picking him up. Looking for some flexibility in schedule in case we have evening events. Would be happy to negotiate additional hours for someone who is interested in cooking meals. We are interviewing candidates in September 2014.
