Hello! We are looking to welcome a new part-time caregiver into our family. Our daughter has just turned 4 and our son is 2 1/2. Our children love creative play, drawing, crafts, music, dancing, singing, reading, water play, and outdoor fun. We are looking for a loving soul to care for our children's needs and participate in their healthy development. You are: - reliable - patient - fun and creative with kids activities - happy being outdoors - available on Thursdays - flexible with schedule Our family: - is environmentally conscious - prefers outdoor activity over TV - values open communication Main caregiving activities to include: - preparation and feeding of meals and snacks - engaging the children in creative play time, with outdoor activity (walks, local parks) and water play when weather permits - reading stories, playing games and developmental learning activities - bathing, dressing and diapering Light housekeeping to include: - keeping kitchen and play areas clean and tidy - loading and unloading the dishwasher as necessary - taking out garbage and recycle as necessary - children's laundry As a self-employed mom my work schedule varies from week to week. Currently we are looking for childcare on: 1. Thursdays. Typical hours 8:30am to ~5:30pm every Thursday, with the exception of a few dates for summer holidays and Christmas holidays. 2. Weekdays as needed. When needed, daily hours may vary from 2 hours (minimum) up to ~9 hours. Our home is in a wonderful neighbourhood near Danforth and Jones Avenue, approximately a ten minute walk from Donlands subway station. We are offering $15 per hour. We add 4 percent vacation pay to each biweekly pay period and deduct taxes according to CRA payroll guidelines. A T4 will be issued following the end of year.
