We are looking for a live-out nanny to care for two boys (11 and 12 months) from two different families (close neighbours) located near Carlaw Ave and Danforth Ave. Daily hours are 8 am to 6 pm, Monday - Friday. The successful candidate will hold a valid Infant First Aid certificate or equivalent, and speak english well; spanish and/or french speaking nannies will be looked upon favourably. Ideally the candidate will have a minimum of three years experience with similarly aged children, and have some knowledge of children's activities within the Riverdale area. The position will be located in the children's home, switching between houses every two weeks. Duties: - Care for two happy, energetic boys - Create a safe, stimulating and loving environment - Transport daily (using stroller) children to local activities, parks and classes and attend with them - Prepare and serve food (lunch and snacks) to children - Perform light child-focused cleaning - Be a team player, and take initiative to be helpful wherever possible - Be honest, trustworthy and reliable The successful candidate will be warm, full of energy, have experience with similarly aged children, and be team oriented.
