We have two smart, energetic, fun-loving kids (our son, grade 3/age 8 and our daughter, grade 6/age 12) who love to play games, tell stories, and run around outside in almost any weather. We are looking for a patient, energetic, fun-loving nanny to be their “soft landing” after school: to pick our son, to play with them in the afternoons, and to help us keep control of the chaos that comes with two kids and two working parents. Hours: Mondays through Fridays, from 3-6pm (though we could also drop Tuesdays and/or Fridays, depending on your schedule) at our house (10 minute walk from a TTC station). We prefer someone with a lot of childcare experience with children our children’s age, especially someone who studied/is studying in a related field and who has experience with kids with special needs. Patience, ability to calmly set firm limits, imagination, and a sense of humor are musts. Non-smokers only, please, and given the job description, we prefer someone who doesn’t need to bring her own children. Also, we prefer someone with experience with children with special needs.
