Hello, My husband and I are working professionals, and live in the downtown core of Toronto. We have a wonderful 15 month old daughter who is active, fun, loves music and of course...is the love of our lives! Our daughter is currently in a great daycare, but we are finding she is having chronic ear infections. As my husband and I both work, she is having to be home to recover. We are needing either an "on call" Nanny to help us when she has to stay home, or we may have to take her out of the daycare setting due to the constant colds/viruses she picks up(which trigger the ear infection). We are also interested in the idea of a Nanny share, as we love the social aspect of daycare for her. Just less kids and germs! My husband and I will be setting up interviews next week. Primarily for an occasional Nanny to help us when she is home sick (which usually is 2 or 3 days). Or if we find someone who is the perfect match for our family, we may consider hiring a full time Nanny starting in Nov/Dec. We are a loving, good natured couple with strong family values who adore our baby girl. Her safety, happiness and health are the most important thing. We are only interested in people that have solid references, background checks, and that sincerely love to work with children. A nice to have would be someone who speaks Italian (our background) or Spanish, but not required.
