Hi, My name is Jennifer. Our friendly and kind family of 4 plus pet cat are looking for an outgoing, caring and responsible individual to take care of 2 children after school. We have a 5-year old son starting Gr.1 in September and a 2-year old daughter that attends a local nursery school in the morning. We live within a 7 minute walk from Summerhill station on the Yonge Subway line. The perfect candidate would be available Monday and Thursdays 12:30-6:30 and on Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays 11:30 - 5:30 Note: we often require evening care during the week. Please advise if there are any nights you are not available. Tasks and Responsibilities include: Picking up 2-year old from school in stroller (10 min walk to our home) Picking up 5-year old from school in stroller in good weather (10 min. uphill from our home) Bringing children to extra curricular activities (within 10-15 min. walking distance) Entertaining, reading to and playing with children Household tasks - include but not limited to tasks such as washing and folding children's laundry, tidying up kitchen, light housework, making lunches/snacks/dinner for children when necessary Schedule Example: 11:30 - Pick-up 2 year old at nursery school and walk child in stroller home 12:00 - prepare and feed lunch for 2 year old 12:30 - Put 2 year old down for a nap 12:30 - 2:30 Your breaktime and completing household tasks 2:30 - 3:30 Picking up 5 year old with 2 year old in stroller 3:30 - 4:30 Prepare and give healthy snack to both children 4:30 - 5:30 Bring children to their extracurricular activities or to the park to play If you think you are the perfect candidate, please respond via this website with your credentials, 2-3 references and an explanation as to why a part-time schedule such as this fits into your current lifestyle.
