We are looking for a live-out, full/part-time (30-40 hours / week) Nanny starting January 2015. We are a friendly, Christian family of four - located in the Beaches neighbourhood. We have two (mostly) well-behaved children. Our daughter is 7 years old. She loves reading books, playing family and creating art. Our son is 5 years old. He loves Lego, anything with wheels and spends his time figuring out how things work. Our ideal Nanny will have a good heart and partner with us to raise our children in a positive way. We are looking for an individual who is kind, firm, nurturing, capable, structured, creative, reliable and hard-working. Primary duties would include taking children to school/activities, hosting play dates, making lunches, and light housekeeping (laundry, meal prep, some grocery shopping, vacuuming). References, a criminal record check and CPR/First Aid certification must be provided. We would prefer to employ someone for 30-40 hours each week, two half days and two full days (consistent each week), Monday through Thursday. An example of a workable schedule would be as follows. We are flexible about which days are half days vs full days (as long as it is consistent each week): * Monday 1:30 - 6:00 PM * Tuesday 1:30 - 6:00 PM * Wednesday 7:15 AM - 5:45 PM * Thursday 7:15 AM - 5:45 PM A friend may be interested in sharing some hours, 5-10 each week, to make 40 hours.
