Nanny required in the Fall ( Sept) for 2 boys ages 10 and 12 years old. We can offer Part time and guarantee 20 hours a week. We require before and after school care, and some odd days here and there if we have an appointment or date night planned, days will vary as I work 4 on 4 off rotation so flexibility is a must. The elementary school which the boys attend is a 1 min walk away. We like the boys to get outside rain or shine everyday! They also love to sit down and make crafts and color. The boys are very active in sports and play Hockey, swimming and baseball. We would require care from 6:00 am-9:00am and then 2:00 pm -4:30 pm between 2/3 days a week (if working day falls on a weekend then full day is required). We will also have extra hours for babysitting or when we get called into work if you are available and flexible it is an added bonus. We also have a 3 yr old golden doodle so we would appreciate if you can walk the dog on your working days. We need someone who is flexible and able to work with a varying schedule. We are able to provide you with a schedule a month in advance each month. Job duties: - Care for our 10 and 12 year old children, both boys ensuring a safe, fun, active environment. - Daily activities such as: meal preparation, possibly bedtime routine if parents are late at work, going for walks to the park, reading, colouring, playing indoors and outdoors. - Light housekeeping -- vacuuming, folding laundry, keeping the kitchen clean and tidy, keeping the play area tidy. Making sure the children complete their daily chores and homework. - Transporting children to hockey if there is a practice or game on working day (if no vehicle we can provide one)*** Full drivers license required and clean record. Qualification required: - Be honest, hardworking, reliable, energetic and have a positive attitude, and show initiative. - Have childcare experience. - Have first aid training is a bonus. - Provide a criminal record check. - Provide references. Salary: negotiable based on experience.
