We are searching for a French speaking Nanny to work 3 days a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. We have a one year old boy and a 4.5 year old boy. The older boy is at daycare most days. I am looking for someone to care mainly for the one year old while I work from home or at the office. Responsibilities are to include preparing healthy meals, bathing the baby, getting the baby to sleep for a nap and overseeing fun activities with the baby at home and at local parks, and activities if needed. It can also include bringing the older boy either to or from daycare or caring for him occasionally. I would like the nanny to clean up after meals in the kitchen and clean up after activities, organize toys and clothes for the two boys. We have a housekeeper who does deep cleaning twice a week. If time allows, I would like the person to prepare evening meals for the family. The ability to work on weekends or travel with the family would be an asset. Responsibilities •Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the children •Supervise the children’s activities at all times •Plan and prepare meals and bottles for, and feed, the children •Dress the children •Place the children down for naps and bedtime •Change diapers •Perform housework related to child care, including washing the children’s clothes, cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas, and washing bottles •Play with the children, both indoors and outdoors •Plan and lead educational activities, including reading, with the children •light housekeeping and preparing family meals I would like the nanny to have up-to-date first aid training, experience with caring for other babies, and provide references for me to contact.
