Hi there! We are a family with two girls, who will are 3 and 6 years old. Our older daughter is a clever little girl who loves to play, is very social and is increasingly independent. Our little one is active and very bright. They are both imaginative, fun-loving and have killer smiles. They are very close and (mostly) get along very well. We need an in-home, temporary live out nanny beginning immediately. This position will begin as temporary, with a possibility that it will beccome permanent as our beloved nanny is on leave. We are sorry, but we not able to accommodate a live-in nanny. Responsibilities will be primarily childcare, including bringing them to school, arranging activities and playdates, making healthy lunches and snacks, and tidying up after the girls. Housekeeping duties and errands are also required where possible, and particularly when the girls are in school. Driving is required, though the amount is driving is minimal. We can provide a vehicle or car seats if necessary. This is a full time position, however the hours will vary from week to week depending on our family's needs. We are committed to gentle parenting approaches including positive discipline, and our preference is a candidate with experience or knowledge in this approach. Kindness, patience and compassion are of course essential. We also prefer either post secondary education in child care related fields, or experience as a nanny or at a child care facility.
