Hi there, We are a young family, and have a cheery, and sweet 11-month old son. We are looking for a full-time experienced nanny to take care of our son as I will be going back to work full-time once he is 1-year old. A little bit about us: My husband and I both work, we have one son, Alex, and live in an apartment in downtown Montreal near Lucien-L'Allier metro station (orange line near Bell Centre). We would be looking for someone to become part of our family as this is a position that would ideally continue till Alex is school-aged and potentially even beyond. We need someone who is available from morning till evening, non-smoking, who has experience with infants and toddlers, has an interest in child development, is warm, loving, CPR certified (we can provide this for the right person), and looking to be part of a family for the longer-term. Our ideal candidate has an upbeat personality, loves children, is diligent, communicative (we believe this is the key to a strong relationship), and efficient. The duties we would need fulfilled: caring for Alex is of course of prime importance to us, also doing and folding baby laundry, preparing and cooking baby food (recipes provided), running and emptying the dishwasher, vacuuming the floor once a day, family towels and bedsheets (once per week, only wash and dry no need to make bed etc), and some food prep for the family.
