Hi! Welcome to our family. We are a 20 something family looking for a Nanny for our eight year old son JT. JT is a pretty easy going fun loving kid. He loves reading and relaxing just as much as he loves playing with his friends after school. He is extremely smart so I need someone who is always on their toes, strict/very firm and doesn't fall for his charm and sneaky ways. He loves to avoid chores and homework at all costs. We also have a eight year old Lab/Staff mix and a four year old Chihuahua, they are both amazing, so happy with so much love and energy. From the minute JT gets home it is go time. He needs to unpack his backpack and put away all his outside clothing. He is allowed a healthy snack and drink to hold him over until dinner. When his snack is finished he needs to start on his homework. He needs to read for 30 minutes everyday (he reads well above his age groups reading level so do not let him fool you) and after the reading is finished he works on his writing or math depending on the day. I usually serve JT dinner around 6 - 6:30pm and I hope to be home from school by then so only mild dinner prep would be required. b Job Description /b He will need help with his homework after school and an eye to ensure he gets his said chores done for the day. We have two dogs who need to be taken to the bathroom every couple of hours as well. I am looking for a semi-permanent person I can depend on while I am in school full-time. I will have be able to better describe the hours when I receive my school schedule in April. The pay will be $11 an hour or a daily rate that is agreed upon. JT is done finished school for the summer in June, from May to June, I will need someone to pick him up after school if my school hours go longer than his school hours. In the summer time I will need someone to watch him a few times a week until I am finished school or my boyfriend comes home at 3pm. I would prefer if candidate has first aid training as well as more than two years experience in child care. When it is time for a face to face home meeting I will require a valid Ontario ID, a resume, references and a Criminal Record Check. Thank you.
