We are an easy going couple living in North Burnaby close to transit looking for a nanny for our charming, smart 4 year old son. We are wanting help with play and educational activities in the morning, followed by lunch, then driving him to pre-school Monday to Thursday (his mom picks up) and other activities on Friday. It would be helpful if you are willing to help with household items like grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light cleaning. Language: English Start Date of Employment (Approx.): ASAP Minimum Education: High School Positions Available: 1 ________________________________________ Job Description JOB DUTIES: As required help bath, dress and feed the child; Plan and participate in games, reading that are appropriate for the age of the child; Plan and prepare each meal and assist the child at meal time; Wash and clean clothing and beddings for the child as necessary; Ensure the home is free of hazardous materials which may cause injury or harm to health; Assist in some housekeeping such as to maintain cleanness of child's room & bathroom, play area and kitchen area including attending to dishwasher; Discipline the child according to the methods requested by the parents; Drive family SUV to take the child to and from activities and to appointments; Lifting the child (eg in/out of SUV car). TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-time, WAGE: Negotiable, for 30-40 hours per week BENEFITS: Vacation leave of 2 weeks per year. LOCATION OF WORK: East Hastings Street @ Gilmore Avenue, Burnaby, B.C.
