We are looking for a nanny to help care for our 2 daughters (aged 5 and 9 months old). We live at the east end of Toronto, in the very vibrant neighbourhood of Leslieville where there are great parks and activities for young families. We are looking for someone live out, full time and long term and to be a part of our family. We are mainly looking for someone to look after the baby during the day and the 5 year old after school. We would like someone who is kind but firm, has a great sense of humour, enjoys being active and eating healthy and eager to find fun ways to engage the children. Some of the things that you would be responsible for: Plan and provide age-appropriate activities Plan and accompany children on stimulating outings Supervise playtime with children's friends Transport children as needed Prepare meals and snacks for children Clean up after self and children Maintain children's play areas and room Children's laundry Common Household Responsibilities Dusting & vacuuming of children's areas Keeping the kitchen clean Family errands, grocery shopping Added bonus (but not necessary) If you have teaching/ECE/camp counselor background Are active and love the outdoors Speak another language (preferably French as our oldest starts French immersion in the Fall) Start Date: Aug. 17, 2015 Days and Hours required: 5 days per week and 40-50 hours per week Rate: Negotiable
