I have always loved animals and have been around animals from a young age. I grew up a cat and when we I was 11 we got chickens and I went vegetarian. In middle school I started horseback riding and spent all my afternoons at the barn taking care of the horses and cleaning stalls. I just love spending time with animals, taking care of them and making sure they are happy and safe.

I have lots of experience with cats and dogs as I grew up with both. I currently have my own dog, she is a cattle dog mix. I spend an hour with her in the mornings exploring the parks and walking through new neighbourhoods. On the weekends we go hiking and biking together. She is always down for an adventure so she comes camping too. I love animals and spending time outside with them is always nice. I had a cat growing up who loved to follow me around the house and was very social. I spent many hours with her playing with toys and she always chewed on my homework which made me laugh. I understand each pet has their own personality and needs and I am willing to get to know them and learn what they like.
