I would love to meet yourself and your dog briefly before taking on any work with you. I think that this is an incredibly important step, just to ensure comfort for you and having you feel safe and confident with leaving your beloved pets in my care. I love to have a run-down on common behaviours with your dogs, any feeding guidelines, whether they are good with other dogs, any medications, and leash and recall behaviour as well.

I've taken care of dogs for a number of years in many different settings. I currently am employed working overnights at a well-known dog boarding facility, and have been pet-sitting for family and friends for many years. This ranges from check-in's during the day, to longer stays while owners are on vacations! I have been relied on to walk, feed, bathe and bond with their dogs. I believe it is important to have dogs walk during the day and provide some stimulating activity to keep their energy levels at a normal pace! I believe in meeting you and your dog(s) before beginning working with them, just to maintain professionalism and comfort for both owners and pets. I have a flexible schedule and my own vehicle to get to and from positions and hiking spots with ease! Drop-in times availability between 9am-9pm. Outside those times can be talked about! I do not currently have the space to provide sufficient room for dog boarding in my own home. However, I am more than capable of coming to your home and maintaining the comfortable and safe space that your dog knows and loves. I am comfortable with whatever boundaries that you set for your pet, including crating, feedings, any restricted spaces, etc. I always will leave everywhere cleaner than when I found it and want it to seem like I never was there to begin with! I don’t mind cameras in your home, as they protect myself, the pets and home itself, but their whereabouts must be disclosed for my privacy and safety as well.
