my name is Christina Chu and I am a compassionate and dedicated senior/health care professional with an extensive skill set. Although I may not have any working experience, I am eager to begin my career in this field and can start immediately.
When it comes to my availability, I am flexible throughout the week. On Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, I am available in the morning, middle of the day, and evening.
At 55 years old, I bring maturity and life experience to my work. I hold a driver's license and have my own vehicle, which I can use on the job. I am a non-smoker, ensuring a healthy and clean environment for my clients.
While I may not be able to swim well, I have a strong background in caregiving and I am comfortable working with children, including those with disabilities. Full-time employment is what I am seeking, and I am open to live-out arrangements.
In terms of education, I hold certifications as a Caregiver/Companion, Personal Support Worker (PSW), Home Support Worker, as well as First Aid and CPR. I have also undergone training at a college level.
As a caregiver and personal support worker, my duties encompass a wide range of tasks. From housekeeping and laundry to grocery shopping and meal planning, I am skilled in providing comprehensive support. I am also experienced in assisting with walking, bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, and range of motion exercises. Additionally, I can provide transportation and accompany clients to appointments.
I am comfortable working in various settings, including home health care, retirement homes, and clinics/hospitals. Throughout my career, I have worked with patients diagnosed with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, dementia, cancer, stroke, and more. My experience includes caring for individuals who are bedridden, in hospice, diabetic, visually impaired, paralyzed, amputees, and those with decubitus ulcers, arthritis, and undergoing chemotherapy/radiation treatment. I am also familiar with hearing impairments, fractured hips, cataract removal, speech impairments, and dialysis.
For me, long-term commitment is important, as I believe in building strong relationships with my clients and providing consistent support.
I am excited to embark on this fulfilling career and make a positive impact in the lives of those in need.
I have 4 years of experience working as a caregiver for both seniors and the young
