my name is Sheril. I am a 48 years old qualified Registered Nurse (RN) from Edmonton, and I am looking to provide my services in the senior and personal health care fields. Although I am new to this profession, I consider myself to be extremely patient and resilient. I practice compassion and understanding which I believe are the best ways to ensure the well-being of my patients. I am available to work full time or part-time throughout the week, flexible and responsive to your preferred schedule. While I can easily relocate if necessary, I am currently unable to travel for work. I am well-qualified to perform a varied range of duties, including housekeeping, meal planning/preparation, running errands, providing assistance with walking, vacuuming, hand-washing dishes, palliative care, administering medication and injections, and personal hygiene assistance. I have experience in providing Alzheimer/Dementia care, Parkinson care, and have a particular proficiency in assisting with ambulation, administering oxygen, and other forms of health care support. I bring a strong ability to provide emotional support while offering my caregiver/companion services, personal support worker services or as a live-out health care provider. I am glad to work in home health care, retirement homes, or clinic/hospital environments, wherever my services may be needed. I am a dedicated, mature, and warm-hearted individual, ready to dedicate my time and energy into ensuring the safety and comfort of your loved ones. As a mother myself, I bring an understanding and compassionate approach to my role as a caregiver, backed by my invaluable lived experiences and professional training. I can confidently communicate in English, making it easier to ensure smooth coordination and better care, supported by my Filipino heritage, which has instilled in me a deep respect for elders and an innate sense of caregiving.
