my name is Rosemerlie and I am a 24-year-old woman living in Edmonton. I have recently completed a Caregiver/Companion, Health Care Aides Certificate, Home Support Worker training at college. Although I have no working experience yet, I am eager to start working immediately in the field of senior/health care. I have flexible availability and can work on Sundays through Saturdays, with various shifts available throughout the day and night. I am a non-smoker, have a valid driver's license, and I am open to relocate for the right opportunity. However, I do not have a vehicle at this time. One of my strengths is that I am great with children with disabilities. I am comfortable working with patients diagnosed with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Dementia, Stroke, and various other conditions such as bedridden patients, hospice care, and diabetes management. I have experience in providing assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, range of motion exercises, and lifts and transfers for heavier patients. I am also skilled in housekeeping, laundry, meal planning, and preparation. My preferred work environment includes Home Health Care, Retirement Homes, and Clinic/Hospital settings. I have a police check and I am a Haitian citizen. I am fluent in Creole, English, and French. I am seeking a full-time position as a Caregiver/Companion or Personal Support Worker in a live-out arrangement. I am passionate about providing quality care and companionship to seniors in need and I am dedicated to making a positive impact in their lives.

I have already worked in this position, but not paid. I worked with my family who had dementia, and in a long term care facility during my practicums.
