I am a very happy and social person. I have 2 grown children and 5 grandchildren. I live with my husband in Keswick. I was an office manager for a general surgeon for 24 years until his retirement. I love people and music and refreshing my brain with word games. I seem to have a way with the elderly and truly love spending time with them.

I was companion and caregiver for an elderly couple. The husband had one leg and was in a wheelchair. He was also diabetic. The wife had dementia and a hip injury. I prepared meals, played cards and took the wife shopping and took both to appointments. I also administered medication and did light housework and did bathing when necessary. I have experience with dementia and Lewy Body dementia, cancer and diabetes as well as clients on oxygen and with leg prosthetics and clients who are blind. Presently I have a developmentally delayed client who is 70. She is in a group home. I take her out for lunch and teach her how to cook in an air fryer. I also help her with shopping.
