In addition, I am majoring in Sociology, while also studying Psychology and Biology, which have further deepened my understanding of human behavior and health. While I do not have professional experience in elder care, I have served as a pre-K school assistant teacher in Curacao. In this role, I had the opportunity to assist amazing children under four years old, helping them gain confidence and supporting them with their daily tasks. Additionally, I have personal experience caring for my grandmothers back in Curacao. One of them has mild dementia, while the other has light dementia. Despite their challenges and occasional resistance to accepting help, I remain committed to providing them with the care they need. I engage them in outdoor activities and strive to bring joy to their lives through humor and light-hearted interactions.
