I worked as a Ward assistant at Jigme Dorji Wangchuk National referral hospital at Thimphu Bhutan for 2 years.I was responsible for Maintaining hygiene and comfort of the patient and environment and perform semi-skilled jobs related to patient care in the wards. Duties and Responsibilities. Maintains personal hygiene and comfort of the patient. Maintains clean and safe environment for the patient. Maintain safety of the ward equipment Dispenses the medicines under supervision. Reaches the a blood sample to the laboratory and collect laboratory and other diagnostic reports from the relevant department. Trolley the patient for examination and surgical interventions. Assist in record keeping and preparation of reports. Responsible for all the other task given by the senior nurse.
