I'm Peter, a dedicated caregiver and personal support worker with four-years' experience based in Unionville. I am equipped with advanced skills and knowledge to provide compassionate care, and I am adept at handling a range of duties such as patient lifting, bathing and grooming assistance, toileting assistance, housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, and Alzheimer and dementia care, among others.
I also possess important certifications such as Caregiver, Personal Support Worker (PSW), First Aid, and CPR, complemented by a Bachelor’s Degree and additional college education. This solid educational background allows me to provide the best possible care for my clients.
I am proud of my experience in providing care to patients with various diagnoses, including Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Dementia, Cancer, Stroke, Hospice, Diabetes, Hepatitis, and Malnutrition. I possess the ability to adapt and respond effectively to the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
Having worked in different settings such as home health care, retirement homes, and clinics, I am comfortable and flexible in diverse environments. I am comfortable with both live-in and live-out arrangements and I am seeking a full-time position to start immediately.
My schedule is mostly flexible, and I am available most days of the week including Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, at various times throughout the day and night.
In addition to my professional capabilities, I have a unique ability to work compassionately with children with disabilities, and it's something I cherish due to its rewarding nature.
In terms of leisure, I enjoy planning visits and outings, be it to friends, family, or neighbors. This brings a delightful balance outside of work and helps me bond more with the individuals I care for.
I am looking forward to bringing these skills and experiences to my new role as a caregiver and personal support worker.
