Hello! My name is Parminder. I am a dedicated and compassionate healthcare worker with over three years of professional experience. My role includes providing support for patients diagnosed with various conditions such as speech impairment, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and dementia, among others. My qualifications include a caregiving/companion certification, home support worker certification, and training in first aid and CPR. Additionally, I hold a Bachelor's degree and a College diploma. My scope of work is broad, ranging from assisting with patient ambulation and heavy lifting, to providing bathing and grooming assistance, toileting, exercise, meal planning, housekeeping, and laundry services. I am also experienced in providing specialized care for Alzheimer/Dementia patients and Parkinson patients, including performing lifts and transfers, patient positioning, and if required, tube feeding and bed baths. I am comfortable working in both clinical and home healthcare environments, and I can provide both live-out and part-time services. I am available most days of the week, including mornings, mid-day, and evenings. If required, I am willing to obtain a police check. It is my passion to provide care and empathy to those in need.
