I am an international educated nurse from the Philippines, currently pursuing my studies as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) and also working as a caregiver. Due to my passion for providing care and assistance to those in need, I decided to expand my knowledge and skills by enrolling in the PSW program. Being an international educated nurse has given me a strong foundation in healthcare practices, and now as a PSW student, I am eager to enhance my understanding of person-centered care and developing meaningful relationships with clients. Additionally, working as a caregiver has further strengthened my compassion and dedication towards promoting the well-being of individuals who require assistance with daily activities. I have gained valuable experience in creating a safe and comfortable environment, administering medications, and providing emotional support to individuals under my care. Through my journey as both a student and caregiver, I aim to continue growing professionally and contributing positively to the healthcare field.
