I am a retired real estate agent and moved to Montreal 3 yrs ago. My two adult son's live nearby. I am conscientious, empathetic and have a great work ethic. I do not have a car but I do have a driver's licence and am comfortable driving in Montreal and surrounding area's. I am in excellent health and walk at least 15 miles a week and swim in my building's pool weekly. I am taking french courses.

I worked for a company in Ontario and also here in Montreal, helping two women with dementia and alzheimer's. One lived in a retirement home and the other lived in her own condo. I helped with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, appointments and companionship. Memory activities and speech therapy. I have experience with progressive aphasia. We would also go for short trips to the Jean Talon market or to the mall for an outing, or just walks in the park for fresh air and exercise. I try to find a topic of conversation that will interest them or find an activity they would like, such as scrabble or other board games.
