Hello, my name is Sakshi and I reside in Peterborough, eager to assist and provide companionship to those in need. I have a year's experience in the caregiving sector, and I am keen to continue on this fulfilling path which commences 25th of April, 2024. In terms of availability, you can count on me all week, with particular flexibility on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, during all parts of the day. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, I'm available during the nighttime due to other commitments. At the age of 22, I have both a Bachelor's Degree. My educational background stems from my passion for social service which was ignited during my time living with my grandparents back in India. I discovered an innate love for older individuals and the immense satisfaction I felt serving them. I'm not restricted to elderly care, I can also work with children with disabilities, infusing my dedication and patience into their required assistance. My range of duties varies from housekeeping, laundry, assisting with walking, patient positioning, grocery shopping to specific tasks like vacuuming, hand washing dishes, and supervising home, and I'm capable of assisting with lifts and transfers. I am comfortable working in varied environments such as Retirement Homes, Home Health Care, Clinic / Hospital and enjoy being a valuable resource in any establishment. Throughout my career, I've had experience working with patients diagnosed with Visual, Hearing, and Speech Impairment, Pneumonia, Incontinence (diapers), and Diabetes. I am seeking a part-time placement in a Live-Out arrangement, where my role could be Caregiver / Companion or a Personal Support Worker, as these roles allow me to make the most of my skills, nurturing and caring nature.
