Then I decided to work in Hong Kong as a domestic helper for experience working abroad, and try to apply here in Canada. For almost 3 years working in Hong Kong I learned a lot of things as a domestic helper. I learned to do household chores like cooking, doing laundry, going to the market, and managed my time doing cleaning and taking care of the 3 years and newborn. Taking care of 2 kids.. taking care of them.. preparing there food, drop and pick up from school, giving bath for them, feed the baby, read books and brought them to the park etc. I have experience in home care/ elderly care, I am a Nurse Midwife back home so I have knowledge in first aid. I worked night shift with Moroccan jewish a cavendish with half stroke and dementia. If I am working with elderly needs to be patience and to understand there cases so I know how to handle them. I am willing to learn new things or willing to attend training if the employer wanted so.Attend there needs - assist them going shower etc. Making there food and clean. Checking all medications and give them on time. Going outside for walking or doing grocery for them to be not bored. I taking care them as my own grandfather / grandmother .
