my name is Katherine and I am a 37-year-old woman with over 13 years of working experience in senior/health care. I am passionate about providing quality care to those in need and I am available during the mornings on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. I am a non-smoker and have a driver's license, as well as my own vehicle which I can use for work purposes. I am a dedicated caregiver who is able to work with children with disabilities and I have a First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate to ensure the safety and well-being of my clients. I have also completed training as a Caregiver/Companion, Home Support Worker, which has equipped me with the necessary skills to provide exceptional care. I am looking for a Full-Time position as a Caregiver/Companion or Personal Support Worker, preferably in a Live-In arrangement. In terms of my job duties, I am experienced in a range of tasks including grocery shopping, assisting with pet care, walking, and escorting to appointments. I am also skilled in providing various forms of personal care such as bathing assistance, palliative care, Parkinson care, lifts and transfers, patient positioning, bed baths, and more. I am familiar with working in different settings including home health care, retirement homes, and clinics/hospitals. Throughout my career, I have worked with patients diagnosed with Alzheimer's, cancer, bedridden individuals, diabetes, incontinence (diapers), arthritis, hearing impairment, and quad/paraplegic care. I have a valid police check and although I am a citizen of another country, my proficiency in French and Spanish enables me to effectively communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
