I am a young 27 year old female that grew up in Swift Current Saskatchewan with my two parents, and two older brothers. I recently got married and I enjoy going for walks, adventures and traveling with my husband. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, longboarding, and crocheting. I am an animal lover and have a pet cat. I went to Mount Royal University, located in Calgary Alberta, right out of high school to pursue personal training. I then later discovered my passion for nursing when I was working in a palliative care home with elderly people with mainly Alzheimer's and related dementia. I absolutely loved the aspect of being able to provide assistance to individuals who need personal care and emotional support. This brings me great purpose, and meaning to my everyday life knowing that I am helping to improve others lives. I then continued my journey and started working with individuals with special needs while attending the CCA program at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. I am currently working on advancing my education through the bridging program CCA to LPN and one day becoming a nurse and continue making a positive impact on others.
