My name is Alyssa . I am very interested in finding a new position that will help me further develop my skills for future opportunites! A little info about me, I have lived in Spruce Grove my entire life; most days when I am not studying for school or working, I can be found baking, cooking, visiting with friends/family members, spending time outdoors or painting! Currently, a psychiatric nursing student at Grant McEwan University. In school, I am completing my first clinical rotation in long term care; so, I have learnt new skills including: personal hygiene care, therapeutic communication, patience, meal time assistance, transfers/postitioning patients, and perineal care. Furthermore, I work as a respite worker. For this role I provided safe, stimulating, and recreational support both in home and in the community. I work with children that have autism, and I am constantly communicating/coordinating with family members, staff and clients regarding scheduling, activities and care expertise. I am available to start a new postiton as soon as needed, and my work availability includes evenings, weekends, and some days. Thank you and I look forward to chatting more!
