Hello, my name is Sonam and I am an enthusiastic young woman ready to start immediately in a senior/healthcare role. Though I am currently based in Vancouver, I am more than willing to travel or even relocate in order to meet the needs of my patients. I am a non-smoker and I am readily available to work any day of the week, morning, daytime, evening, or even night. Although I do lack a driving license and a vehicle, my dedication to caregiving makes up for it.
Despite my lack of work experience, my education as a Caregiver/Companion and Home Support Worker has equipped me with the skillset to provide a variety of services. These would include but not limited to housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, meal planning/preparation, and cleanliness. I am capable of providing essential assistance with walking, baths, dressing, grooming, and home supervision.
I am especially equipped to work with children with disabilities and patients with diverse diagnoses ranging from Cancer, Diabetes, to speech and visual impairment amongst others. My main objective as a Personal Support Worker or Caregiver is to ensure the comfort and wellbeing of my patients. Without a doubt, my scope of preference extends from Home Health Care and Retirement Homes to Clinics and Hospitals.
I am Bhutanese by origin, however, I am currently awaiting to complete my police check. I am seeking a full-time position where I can utilize my skills to enhance the quality of life of the individuals I care for, whether in a live-in or live-out arrangement. With my dedication and a strong passion for caregiving, I aim at creating a comforting environment conducive for healing and growth.
