I’m Michele, a caregiver based in Waterloo, with over 3 yrs experience. I’m passionate about supporting elderly individuals to maintain independence and quality of life in their own home, a passion that stems from personal experience supporting elderly family members and as a Home Support Worker helping other families care for their elderly parents. In addition to caregiving, I enjoy cooking, baking, sewing, biking and walks with our dog. I have a background in nutrition and recently took early retirement from a career as a Registered Dietitian in public health. I’m seeking a part-time role and have flexible availability to meet the needs of the individual/family.

I have worked with home care agencies and privately with families to support elderly clients. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, medication reminders, housecleaning, laundry, meal prep, grocery shopping, socializing/companionship, transportation to appointments. I am passionate about supporting seniors to maintain independence in their own home.
