Hello there! My name is Lorena. I am presently 18 years of age. At this juncture of my life, I am engaged in pursuing higher education at a university, with a focused aspiration to eventually embark on a promising career as a scientist. Over the years, I have diligently aimed to broaden and deepen my academic knowledge base and skills. In line with that, I have enrolled myself in various advanced placement (AP) courses. These rigorous, college-level curriculums have not only challenged my intellect, but also channelled my analytical and critical thinking skills, which I believe are fundamental in the field of science. Moreover, to further augment my understanding, diversify my academic experiences, and contribute to the learning of others, I have previously undertaken tutoring roles. This experience allowed me to not only assimilate and apply theoretical concepts in a practical context, but also equipped me with better communication skills, a keener understanding of various learning styles, and more importantly, the joy of helping others grasp and conquer their academic challenges. This combination of academic exposure and experience have served to fuel my passion for science even more and I look forward to where this journey will take me.

I have taken many ap courses in high school, and in currently in university. I’ve tutored younger kids and even some high school students.
