Hello, my name is Sonam and I am a devoted Early Childhood Educator based in Vancouver. My passion lies in teaching and nurturing a positive learning environment for young children. With over 4 years of experience, I have honed my ability to teach a diverse range of subjects including Yoga, Fitness, Arts and Crafts, Drama, and more. My specializations include preparing for school and exams, utilizing the Montessori method, and working with children with special needs. I am available throughout the week, from morning until evening, and can start immediately. Having been raised in Bhutan, I hold a certificate in ECE training, and have had the valuable experience of working in an ECE facility. As well as offering academic tutoring, I can also offer various art subjects such as photography, origami, design and fine arts, revolutionizing the way young minds perceive education. Although I don't possess a driver's license, I am willing to relocate or travel ensuring, that distance or location won’t impede my ability to educate. I’m a non-smoker who is fluent in English and able to provide all the necessary support to children between the ages of 3 and 10. Although I don't have children of my own, my experience in early childhood education has enabled me to establish strong connections with the children I teach. It's worth noting that aside from my teaching capabilities, cleanliness is a value I uphold dearly. I have worked in an ECE facility where I took responsibility for 15 children aged between two and five. My responsibilities were to feed, change diapers, teach, and play with them. It mostly consisted of engaging the children in activities that helped them develop motor skills and socialize with other children. Additionally, I was responsible for cleaning and maintaining the classroom and the environment where the children played and ate. The job where I worked is Yoentenling ECE, located in Bhutan. In my country, I am a trained ECE facilitator and hold a certificate in the field.
