Due to the nature of our schedules, this aid would only be needed on a couple of specific days within each month. He would require some assistance with several routine tasks, some of which include helping him with his mobility, guiding him during any bathroom changes, safely assisting him during showers or baths, and even helping with the simple act of heating up his meals. Your responsibilities will include helping her with daily tasks such as grocery shopping, errands, household chores, and at-home dialysis treatment. Training will be provided for the dialysis. Our family is looking for a full time or part time caregiver/housekeeper for our son with special needs. He is 23 years old, quiet, friendly young man. He loves to play, enjoys friendly people and very simple to make him happy. His disability from birth consists of a global delay, and is fully dependent as for feeding, mobility and hygeine. His level of development is similar to 3 months child, he can be easily understood through time with facial expressions, gestures, and body language. We are looking for someone who has some experience and ability/passion to learn fast and willing to support parents who are full time employed. Our home is fully adapted with wheelchair access and equipment necessary for supporting our needs. We are open long term commitments . Some of routine tasks surrounding our home would be feeding him, provide medication on time, regular hygiene, walking him to the park, basic housekeeping, laundry and maintaining kitchen. We have bathing services every night so only monitor our home while the service is given is nessesary. Would require some weekend support and we can adapt to a flexible schedule. Summer is more demanding since he is home full time. We can coordinate vacation periods to both our needs. Additional responsibilities would also include changing the bed sheets weekly and aiding in carrying the laundry upstairs and downstairs. While they handle their own folding and my grandfather even enjoys cooking, your presence could be helpful and reassuring for their safety while they handle these tasks. The position is titled "Part-time companion for my Lovely grandparents". Filipino/Tagalog speaking is preferred. The placement would entail working part-time for about 20 to 30 hours a week. Working days would be from Monday to Friday, during the morning hours and extending into midday on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Primary responsibilities would include Meal Planning/Preparation, Escort to Appointments, Bathing Assistance, Plan Visits, Outings, & Trips to Visit Neighbours, Friends, Family, Dressing Grooming assistance, Housekeeping, Laundry, Errands. We are ideally looking for individuals who are comfortable or experienced in dealing with arthritis and hearing impairment. A driver's license is a requirement for this position as the family would provide a car for use on the job to assist in their outings and appointments. This position does not require living in and the individual can start immediately. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who have a caring nature and dedication towards enabling the elderly in leading an engaging and safe lifestyle.
