I am seeking a compassionate, dependable individual to fill a vital role as a caregiver for an elderly woman living with dementia. The right candidate will provide personalized care services, delivering much-needed companionship as well as performing daily chores. Experience dealing with Alzheimer's or dementia patients is paramount, as is proficiency in tasks such as bathing, grooming, toileting, housekeeping, and laundry, as well as grocery shopping. Meal planning/preparation, running errands, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, particularly within bathroom areas and for vacuuming tasks, will also form part of your routine. Equally crucial is the need to facilitate visits, outings, and trips to help my loved one stay engaged and connected with her community, close friends, relatives, and neighbors. As her trusted companion, accompany her to routine medical appointments, including doctor visits and bloodwork procedures. Your role will also encompass escorting her to a day support program thrice a week. With a work schedule from Monday to Saturday, during morning to midday hours, expect to devote approximately 40 - 50 hours per week to this role. Please note that a driver's license is essential, as you will be required to transport her to various locations. Don't worry about a vehicle; a family car will be at your disposal for performing your duties. This role offers flexibility, and we are happy to accommodate both live-in and live-out arrangements based on your convenience. The expected start date is 05.03.2024. This role is fitting for someone who is sincerely committed to providing empathetic care and feels comfortable working with dementia patients. So, if you meet these requirements and the spirit of caregiving resonates with you, please, don't hesitate to apply for this role. This caregiver position is crucial and would make a significant difference in the life of my loved one.

I'm looking for a responsible and committed Caregiver for an elderly female with dementia. This heartfelt role requires patience, compassion, and a genuine passion for working with senior individuals, particularly those with dementia or Alzheimer's Disease. Familiarity or experience with visual impairment care would be beneficial. A significant portion of your responsibilities will involve providing companionship and engaging in everyday activities such as meal planning/preparation, grocery shopping, and going for visits to family, friends, or neighbors. You will also accompany the lady to her medical appointments which include doctor visits and routine blood work, and will be expected to escort her to a designated adult day support center three times per week. Your responsibilities also extend to basic housekeeping duties as part of maintaining a clean, organized environment for the elderly woman. The support required spans across Monday to Saturday, ideally in the morning, middle of the day and evening. The total working hours will be between 40-50 hours per week. This could be a live-in or live-out position and could suit either a full-time or part-time arrangement. As the woman's mobility is somewhat restricted, a valid driver's license is required for this role. But worry not as the family will provide a car for use on the job, ensuring the transportation process is seamless. The commencement date for this role has been tentified for May 3rd, 2024. If you possess the skills, experience, and heart to make a difference in this lady's life, while adding meaning to your own, I encourage you to apply.
