I live in South Surrey (near the Grandview pool) and I am a single Dad to four children. Three of them live with me in a modern townhouse with four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. I am looking for someone to clean my home twice a week - either Mondays and Thursdays or Tuesdays and Fridays and cook dinners on those nights too. I am thinking five hours each day. I am looking for someone who is a good cleaner, responsible, works hard and is happy to cook a meal for five people each time they come. It doesn't have to be anything too fancy, just a nice meal.

I'm a busy mother in need of some assistance in handling my household chores and responsibilities. This is a full-time - part-time position where I need someone to come in during the evenings, every day of the week and assist me with various tasks around the house. An ideal start date would be April 26, 2024. As my housekeeper, your main responsibilities will be keeping the interior of the home and our immediate external areas clean. This includes tasks like cleaning dishes, inside and outside of the fridge, cupboards, oven, dishwasher, pantry, counters, and floors. We also require help with our laundry including washing and drying clothes and other household items. Additionally, you'll be tasked with meal preparation and service. Cooking and serving on special events for my family and guests will be a regular function. This will also involve some grocery shopping and running of household errands to keep our supplies fully stocked. We're a pet-friendly and plant-loving home, so you'll also be responsible for pet care and maintaining our garden and indoor plants. We require someone who can manage our closet and pantry, regularly clearing out of date and spoiled items. We occasionally travel or have special events that we would like you to manage. This includes making travel arrangements on behalf of us and planning/directing special events. You'll also be left with the important responsibility of maintaining household security and handling household finances, such as paying bills. Other tasks include house sitting, bed making, linen changing, and ironing clothes. The preferred candidate must have a driver's license as we can provide a car for use during work. Finally, ensure the outside of the oven, fridge, and dishwasher are always clean. The hours expected of this job will vary between 20 - 30 hours a week. This position is a live-in arrangement, so accommodation will be provided within our property. We are seeking a reliable and experienced Housekeeper for our large, multi-generational family. We have multiple houses on a large family property east of Fort Langley. Note: our property is not transit accessible. Reliable, personal transportation required. Each day, you will start by supervising one toddler (2.5 years old), helping to get him ready for school, including lunch and belonging packed, preparing meals for the family, and tidying. When his parents have early meetings, you will be supervising him independently. Then you will spend the remainder of your day cleaning (total of 4 homes), performing laundry duties, and ensuring the overall tidiness and functionality of the homes. Occasional assistance with meal preparation and childcare may be required. Work Schedule: Monday to Friday from 7:30am toam - Supervising toddler, meal prep, tidying 9:30am - 3:30pm - Cleaning & household tasks Responsibilities: - Perform regular and thorough cleaning of all rooms in the houses, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and surface sanitization. - Supervise one toddler every morning, helping to get him ready for school including packing his lunch and belongings for daycare each day. - Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-traffic areas to maintain a hygienic environment. - Change linens and make beds to ensure freshness and comfort. - Manage laundry tasks, including washing, folding, ironing, and organizing clothes and linens. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of closets, pantries, and storage areas in each home. - Assist with meal preparation by chopping vegetables, washing dishes, and tidying up kitchen surfaces as needed. - Occasionally provide additional childcare support, such as supervising children and assisting with activities under parental guidance. - Communicate effectively with household members to understand their preferences and priorities regarding cleanliness and organization. - Identify and report any maintenance issues or repairs needed within the household.
