I am in need of a full-time or part-time Housekeeper/Mother's helper who would be able to lend us an extra pair of hands around the house and with some personal errands. The tasks will primarily include laundry, meal preparation and service, running errands such as grocery shopping, managing household supplies, and occasionally handling household finances and bills. In terms of personal assistance, we also require help with taking our son to school, taking care of our pet, making travel arrangements, securing and supervising tradesmen/contractors, as well as changing linens and making beds at home. Although this is not a live-in position, we hope to find someone who can work ideally from 7:30 am, Monday to Friday, totaling 20 - 30 hours per week. You will be working primarily at our home, but the job will also involve house and cleaning tasks as a part of household management. Also, to make your tasks more convenient and efficient, we will provide a family car that you can use for the job. This does however require that you have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. We are flexible with the schedule especially during the summertime, but we do prefer someone who can commit to a full-time schedule until the end of the school year and resuming come September. We are a busy family of 5 (three daughters aged 7, 10, 12) and a smallish sweet dog. We are looking for a family assistant/housekeeper to help with a wide range of tasks. I'm looking for someone with professional experience in cleaning who also has a great, outgoing personality and enjoys working with kids. I work from home and am looking for someone who can take over the cleaning responsibilities and play with my 1-year old as needed. Since I'm offering a full-time position, I'm looking for someone who can do both cleaning and nanny work as I wouldn't have enough full-time work for just one of those roles. I am a busy professional and single parent to a pre-schooler. I just can't keep up with the mess! Our home is a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment on UBC campus. I am looking for someone to come weekly or bi-weekly to clean the kitchen and bathrooms and help with the endless clutter. Laundry (in suite), vacuuming, dusting is all appreciated. I imagine it will require about 6-8 hours a month and I'm flexible about whether that's 2 hours every week or 3-4 every couple weeks. Fair warning, there will always be dirty dishes (but there is a dishwasher!). I am flexible about what day you come but Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays are best as I work from home those days and can let you in. I require that you are vaccinated against Covid-19 (as I am).
