Job Title: Professional Career Housekeeper Location: Point Grey Area Job Type: Monday to Friday; some Saturdays about 6-8x per year. Overview: Seeking an experienced and professional House Cleaner for a 3400 sqft, 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom family home. The ideal candidate will collaborate with our House Manager to maintain a clean, organized, and functional living space for our family of five and our dog Luna. Key Responsibilites: • Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing. • Keep kitchen tidy: dishwashing, declutering, and managing waste sorting. • Regular cleaning of appliances, counters, and sinks in the kitchen. • Daily bedroom maintenance: bed making, laundry sorting, and clothes organization. • Bathroom upkeep: cleaning toilets, mirrors, showers, and replenishing supplies. • Handle laundry tasks, including washing, ironing, and storage. • Organize various home areas, handle mail/school papers, and general tidiness. • Washing produce and basic food prep when needed. • Perform weekly deep cleaning tasks, including refrigerator and cupboard cleaning. • Exterior maintenance: sweeping grounds and garage, cleaning baseboards, light fixtures, and walls. • Monitor and restock cleaning supplies; communicate repair needs to House Manager. • Occasionally assist House Manager with errands. • Occasional working evening and/or weekends with advanced notice for assistance with house parties and/or babysitting. Requirements: • Proven house cleaning experience with reliability and strong work ethic. • Valid Driver’s License for local errands. • Detail-oriented, capable of working independently. • Based in or near Vancouver. • Use of eco-friendly cleaning supplies. • Non-smoker • MUST HAVE valid Work Permit • Positive attitude and cheerful demeanor. Looking for a lady who is an experienced cook and housekeeper for a warm family house with two lovely dogs in West Vancouver. Busy house but still enough down time. Cooking is the most important part of duties. Excellent working conditions. This is a live-in opportunity. Requirements: Cooking and keeping the kitchen sorted and stocked. I am a busy professional and single parent to a pre-schooler. I just can't keep up with the mess! Our home is a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment on UBC campus. I am looking for someone to come weekly or bi-weekly to clean the kitchen and bathrooms and help with the endless clutter. Laundry (in suite), vacuuming, dusting is all appreciated. I imagine it will require about 6-8 hours a month and I'm flexible about whether that's 2 hours every week or 3-4 every couple weeks. Fair warning, there will always be dirty dishes (but there is a dishwasher!). I am flexible about what day you come but Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays are best as I work from home those days and can let you in. I require that you are vaccinated against Covid-19 (as I am).
