Hello, my name is Aurora but if you want you can call me Rorie. I will get the most important things out of the way first. Just so that you know I am autistic, and I have ADHD. But don't let this fool you because I am a very nice person and because of my autism I like to do everything correctly and I like to be organized. So that you know I am comfortable with depending on the age of the child purchasing crafts and activities for us to do. I like to read and listen to music I usually somehow do that at the same time. I like collecting things and hanging out with kids. Because of my autism I can act very childish, and this makes me very good with kids and I love hanging out with them and playing with them. I often babysit my younger siblings and I've started babysitting them since I was 10 and when I did that my brother was two and sometimes I've babysat younger. I do not have a driver's license as I'm not old enough but I do plan on getting one as soon as possible. I also plan on getting my CPR certificate and first aid certificate, but I do have a book on first aid that I have read through the whole thing twice. I do also volunteer in a special need classroom and in a special needs theater group called TASC. So I am perfectly comfortable to watch over children with disabilities. I have been baby sitting my younger siblings and cousins since I was 10. I babysat my brother when he was 2, and some of my cousins were even younger. In elementary school I often helped out in the kindergarten classes and have even helped out in FSP classrooms. I often babysit for my family for over 4 hours. I have babysat In my own home and in other family members homes. I will help tidy up and make meals as needed. I have high functioning autism and because of this I am able to act very childlike. I would not let this get in the way of course. I was also thinking about bringing crafts and fun things to do with the kids depending on their age. I do not have a license yet as I am not old enough but I will get one as soon as possible. Working towards first aid and CPR certificates.
