Hello, We're a loving family with two beautiful girls, aged 5 and 6, and we're in need of a part-time Nanny to offer a helping hand in our household. We're located in Kitsilano, close to the Arbutus Greenway. The position is immediately available, with a requirement of 20 hours per week, -every other week-. However, the schedule is flexible. The main working hours would be between 2pm and 6pm every other week. We may benefit from someone who could occasionally start a bit earlier and finish later when needed. Your main responsibilities will include preparing meals and meal planning for the week and grocery shopping, aiding with pick up/drop offs to school and children's activities as well as keeping our household clean and organized. Also, various tasks involving the children such as babysitting, organizing craft activities, planning outings to parks and playgrounds, will be expected as well. Some household chores are also expected. These duties include keeping the house tidy and organized, shopping for groceries, restocking food and household supplies, as well as handling the family's laundry. Given the nature of the job, the candidate should own a driver's license and have access to a car for certain childcare responsibilities like driving the kids to activities or running errands. We will provide the appropriate car seats for your vehicle. We're offering a starting salary of $20 per hour, negotiable based on prior experience. Expecting twin boys in August and will definitely need lots of help transitioning for the first few months and occasionally afterwards.
