Job Title: Au Pair (Live-In) Location: Vernon (Predator Ridge), Nanaimo (Decourcy Island), and City of Vancouver About Us: We are a warm and welcoming family residing across the picturesque landscapes of Vancouver Island, the Okanagan, and Vancouver. With busy schedules and active lifestyles, we are seeking a compassionate and responsible individual to join our family as an au pair. Our home is filled with laughter, adventure, and love, and we are excited to welcome someone who shares our values into our household. We are looking to have a second child in the near future and would love for the au pair to remain with us for a multi-year period. Position Overview: We are looking for an au pair to provide support with childcare and light household duties. This is a live-in position, offering a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of British Columbia while becoming an integral part of our family. We have homes in Vernon, BC (Predator Ridge) and Vancouver Island (Decourcy Island) that we spend the majority of our time. You would have a dedicated room/space at both of these properties. For the right candidate, they could still choose to live at home in either Vernon or Nanaimo, but they would have to live with us while we travel to the other houses. We also spend a lot of time in the City of Vancouver. When the opportunities arise, we would also like someone that is available to travel with us as well. The au pair will primarily be responsible for assisting with the care of our two-year-old son, as well as providing support with other household tasks. The job would start with a 2-month plus stay at our property on Vancouver Island. After that, we would be looking to relocate to Vernon in the Fall and stay there for a longer period. Key Responsibilities: - Engage with and supervise our two-year-old son in various activities, including playtime, developmental exercises, and outings. - Prepare and serve meals and snacks for our son, adhering to any dietary preferences or restrictions. - Assist with light household chores such as tidying up communal areas, children's laundry, and meal preparation. - Accompany the family on outings and excursions, providing additional support and supervision as needed. - Foster a nurturing and supportive environment for our son, promoting his emotional and social development. Qualifications: - Previous experience working with toddlers and young children, either as a nanny, babysitter, or au pair. - Genuine passion for childcare and a desire to positively impact the lives of children. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with children of varying ages. - Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate the needs and schedules of a busy household. - Valid driver's license . - First aid and CPR certification preferred. We are seeking childcare for our happy and very verbal 17month old. We are open to part time and full time arrangements and are flexible regarding live-in or live-out options based on caregivers preference. If live-in, we require full time care on weekdays. Our main priority is finding a nurturing and engaging caregiver.

Hello. We are looking for reliable casual babysitting services for our three daughters (4, 5 & 11). This would be for evenings or daytime on weekends on occasion. Our house also has two indoor cats so hopefully pets are acceptable work conditions. We need a nanny who is comfortable with dogs as we have a four year old dog who is very friendly and relaxed. Our baby girl naps twice a day and is quite active moving about. I'm a single mother of 3 children, ages 7, 4(almost 5), and 2, and I am due with baby #4 on December 27th. I'm looking for a nanny to help with basic childcare needs and transportation during the adjustment period of bringing home a new baby and hoping to find someone who can help with getting the children to and from school, light housekeeping, meal prep, etc. My boys, ages 7 and 4, are both diagnosed with Autism and ADHD, they are medicated and in therapies to manage their needs. I have funding through ACCB and can top up what they cannot cover.

We live in Kelowna and work in Vernon, we have an area set up behind our office building made into a space for her so we will be close if needed.

We are looking for someone to provide childcare in our home 8:30-3:30 Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for July & August. We have 3 girls aged 5, 7 & 12 who love music, art & crafts, dancing, board games, reading, biking, and playing outdoors. It would be great to find someone who is comfortable to drive the girls to activities and spend time exploring different parks or going on nature walks. We would like to plan some things with you like beach days or going to the pool if your are open to those sorts of things - we want you to have fun coming to work too! ☺️ During the summer the girls have activity books that we use to help keep their minds engaged in school activities and we would like them to spend a small amount of time each day working in them. You will need to prepare snacks and lunch and have the girls help with that and the clean up - they earn a small allowance for this 🙂 Our family also has two calm and shy cats so hopefully you are comfortable with animals.
