Position Overview: We are looking for a full time nanny to provide care for our little guy while we, both professionals, work from home. The nanny will be responsible for creating an enriching, caring, and supportive learning environment for our child, focusing on Montessori concepts. In addition to providing excellent care, the nanny will assist with diaper changes, feeding, light housekeeping duties, and potentially accompany our child to extra-curricular activities. The opportunity for some weekend work may also be available from time to time. Responsibilities: • Provide attentive and high-quality care for our child while we work from home • Create an enriching, caring, and supportive learning environment based on Montessori concepts. • Perform diaper changes and ensure our child's hygiene needs are met. • Assist with feeding, ensuring the provided food is served appropriately. • Perform light housekeeping duties, including tidying our child's play area and washing dishes used during childcare. • Prepare light meals for our child/family as needed. • Have an understanding of food allergies and sensitivities to ensure our child's safety. • Potentially accompany our child to extra-curricular activities, such as swimming, when necessary. Qualifications: Previous experience providing childcare or nanny services is required. • ECA (Early Childhood Assistant) or ECE (Early Childhood Educator) credentials are preferred but not required. • Passing of Vulnerable Sector Screening required (employer will compensate for this record) • Updated CPR and First Aid certifications. • Familiarity with Montessori strategies and concepts is desired. • Possession of a valid driver's license - having access to a vehicle is considered desirable • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment. Looking for someone to help out with our twin boys who are 5 months old. We recently moved from British Columbia back to Ontario and are looking for some support with our twins as we settle in to our new digs. Right now the boys are starting to roll and sit on their own, they love to be outside, and giggle those delicious baby giggles. We are looking for someone who is confident, calm, and easy going. For the most part, your role will be to support the boys in their everyday activities, like feeding, changing, playing, and overall nurturing. Otherwise, some light household tasks, like meal prepping while they're napping, would be amazing! This can start as a part-time position, however, there is opportunity to develop into a full-time role come September. We are looking for an occasional babysitter for our two children who are between the ages of 6 and 10 years old. We do not have a set schedule for a babysitter, it would just be as needed. We've met wonderful caregivers through this site who have babysat for several years with us. We have two active kids who like to play board games, do arts and crafts and play outside. Our son is 3 years old and has autism. He is currently full time in daycare, but we may start to bring him home in the afternoons eventually so he can transition into school easier in September. Do this with no need for parental involvement as parents need break. Required: experience dealing with newborns, reference check (at least one. we may also ask for police check), willingess to wear masks if/when requested. To start asap.
